[He leads Taranza up to his door and buzzes them in, having a very real moment here of being torn between wanting sex and wanting to work. It's not even like this is the first time he's had that particular dilemma, but it is definitely the most immediately pressing . . . no! They came here to bang and he wants to bang! Work can wait!!]

[He is primarily focused on that bouquet, and takes it from Magolor to hold it up against different parts of the room. Hmmm.]

[This is cute, and also, now that his hands are free, Magolor is free to take advantage of those yellow flower urges and hassle Taranza by following him around and clinging onto him. He takes Taranza's overnight bag and sets it on the couch, freeing up even more of him to be playfully grabbed.]

[He tolerates it with fondness, and he can't even be surprised by it, when he assembled the bouquet himself.]

You said the kitchen would look the best? And I think it's fine to hug in the kitchen...

I guess we'll just have to find excuses to hang out in there more often~.

[So, he waves Taranza in, and then leads him over to the counter area with the two stools where he sometimes brings people for tea and snacks when he doesn't use the coffee table. The counter there is deep enough to accommodate the vase between the seats.]

[He moves back to look at it, nods, and then turns to another counter to grab a little pastry box, which he brings over to set in front of the flowers too.]

[He'll hop up onto one of those counter stools.]

[But he winks, unoffended, and opens the box. There are three handpies inside! It smells like delicious baked apple.]

Subaru is practicing baking, so I offered him some gem apples to experiment with! The finished product is my repayment for the materials. I think it's well worth the cost.

Ohhhh, I see. You just keep growing more of those, right? It's a great deal!

Right! The harvest isn't as big here as it is on their homeworld, but that's fine, because it's all mine! I still get 20 apples a day. . . . The truth is, it's a little excessive at this point, though I did clear them out that one time I spent them all on an energy sphere.

[He grabs one of the handpies to eat and shifts to press up against Taranza's side as he does, leaning in cozily under the backdrop of flowers.]

Now that you mention it, I wouldn't really suffer for that at all, huh? I already eat plenty of them fresh just to use them up. And because they're delicious! But there's no comparison between a fresh apple and an apple pie, or cake, or anything else!

Exactly! And nothing is stopping you from eating more of them fresh.

[He picks up his own pie, leaning into Magolor with a hum.]

Maybe I'll end up with even more to spoil you with. I swear it's coincidence! It's not like I have something someone gave me every single night . . . but I guess these days it's pretty common, hmm?

I am too! I'd always be glad no matter what the circumstances. Who doesn't like being appreciated? . . . But, it's a special situation on this planet. It does mean a lot to me.

It's not the same with people who don't really know me except professionally, which is how it is on most planets. Of course I'm still glad about it and all, but it's a whole other thing when someone knows the real you and still appreciates you that much.
